Planting Trees in Cremorne

National Tree Planting Day is on Sunday the 2nd of August. North Sydney Council is holding a picnic where you can help plant more than 3000 trees in Primrose Park, Cremorne. Get your friends, family and work mates down to Primrose Park from 9am to get those trees planted.

Bells & Whistles

On the first edition of Richard Bell’s ‘Bells and Whistles’ program on Saturday at 2pm, the guests will include actor Alexa Ashton. Alexa’s diverse acting career includes the Bell Shakepeare Co. through to Home & Away and The Strip and other significant productions. She is appearing in the Ensembles’ upcoming production of ‘The Little Dog Laughed’.

Also on the program NSW MP Brad Hazzard looks at local development and other issues significantly affecting the North Shore.

Vince Jones on Now's The Time

As one of Australia’s leading jazz vocalists, Vince Jones, is undeniably a remarkable talent. He returns to the prestigious Basement in Sydney for one show only on July 15.

Vince and his band have been touring the European circuit playing to packed houses in Germany, London, Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands including major festivals in the North Sea, Montreux and Aarhus. Vince has also enjoyed success in the USA in recent years using his voice as an expressive instrument and the lyric as a vehicle for story and comment.

FM99.3 brings you a better Wednesday on air. Starting this week, tune in to The Melting Pot with Elizabeth Jarrett & Craig Duckmanton between 9am and midday, and from 9pm that evening, Thirteenth Floor with Ben Allen, a trip through neo-psychedelia and shoegazing sounds.
